Hi there,
I can't seem to find any info on this error message that's generated when
sending email with CDO:
"The pickup directory path is required and was not specified"
Does anyone know whether the cdoSMTPServerPickupDirectory field of the
Message object defaults and whether it's normal to have to set this value
explicitly. My W2K workstations and servers function OK without this

I'm getting the above error thrown somewhere in the code:
XPathDocument xPathDocument = new XPathDocument(FileLocation);
XPathNavigator xPathNavigator = xPathDocument.CreateNavigator();
XPathNodeIterator nodeIterator = xPathNavigator.Select("/plist/dict");
nodeIterator.MoveNext();
nodeIterator = nodeIterator.Current.SelectChildren(XPathNodeType.All);

to FTP to it and delete it, rename it, copy over it and I get the error.
"Could not copy temporary files to the output directory"
Anybody have any idea why this file is locked? What do I have to do to
release it? TIA ~jeff

Hi all. I am using W2K3, .NET2 on a machine running AD and Exchange. I
started getting the message below last week. I googled the error and not
much was returned, but I did find this;
http://forums.asp.net/918725/ShowPost.aspx
I tried both items in the forum and it works for a few hits then it happens
again!
Anyone have the same problem? How do I fix this?

Hi,
I have set up an asp.net website on another PC in order to test it. The
site was fine on my PC, but on the new PC all the pages give the error "The
Page Cannot Be Found". Some legacy pages (ASP, as opposed to ASP.Net) work
fine.
The old PC was running Windows 2000 Server, and the new PC I am testing on
is running Windows Server 2003.
Thanks in advance,

I would like to call a function that "returned" several values - all
of which are relevant to the needs of a procedure on a form. I do
understand that FN's return a single value.
I'm wondering, is this a good place to employ a user-defined Type?
The FN would reside in a global module. When called, it does return
one value considered to be the most important. But while it's running,
it does calculate several more important values that...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
