change company name in Visual Studio

When I first installed VS, there was a different company name than there is
now and now I need to change the default company. I'm talking about the
default company name that exists in the copyright info when you create a new
assembly.

Changing the company name on the MSDN subscription is pretty simple - just
call MS --- but

Hi Matt,

Please see following MSDN library documentation:

#Template Parameters
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/lib...aa(VS.80).aspx

For the CompanyName in AssemblyInfo, it's $registeredorga nization$ which
uses value from registry key value from HKLM\Software\M icrosoft\Window s
NT\CurrentVersi on\RegisteredOr ganization.

Hope this helps.
Sincerely,
Walter Wang (wa****@online. microsoft.com, remove 'online.')

Hi Matt,

Which os are you using? Please see if this document helps:

#Change the Registered Owner and Organization at Registry Guide for Windows

If the key doesn't exist already, please create it and try again.

I went back and looked for the RegisteredOrgan ization key again and found
it. I apparently was looking for a folder called RegisteredOrgan ization
under Current Version before. It's working exactly as I need it to now --
thank you, and I'm sorry for the confusion.

I have a database project that I created with several forms and reports. I would like to be able to declare a single title and be able to change the title on all the forms and reports by changing a single variable. I think this is possible, however I don't know Visual Basic very well. I created a module named DBcommon with the following statements in it: Option Compare Database Global Const DBname As String = "Title String"

There are times when you will need to highlight or otherwise modify the contents of a particular DataGrid row-column value based upon the value in the column. In this example we will select the CompanyName, ContactName, and ContactTitle columns from the Customers table in the Northwind database. Whenever the value of ContactTitle equals "Owner" we will change the font color to red. We can do this by using an ItemTemplate where we have...

Hi, What options do I have after putting a month in on writing a program and so many functions in it and now I want to change the name of the project with their file names? Do I make the new project and hand copy over all the controls and code or is there a big red plastic "easy' button somewhere I can push? Waiting for your favourable response. Thanking you.

Keep in mind this is my first compiled SQL program Stored Procedure (SP), copied from a book by Frasier Visual C++.NET in Visual Studio 2005 (Chap12). So far, so theory, except for one bug (feature?) below. At some point I'm sure I'll be able to laugh about this, akin to forgeting a semi-colon in C/C++, but right now it's frustrating (time to sleep on it for a while). Problem-- For some reason I get the error when trying to save files...

In my current VB 2005, company name and copyright information (the word "CopyRight" with company name and year) is filled in automatically once a new project is created. However, I have no idea where I can configurate it in my new VB 2008. Thanks for your kindly advice!
