Hi,
I'm facing an odd problem when consuming some web services in .Net.
After call a web method, the response SOAP envelope isn't being deserialized
properly. In fact, all href tags are not being deserialized, and for
consequence, all related properties are comming null.
I wrote a soap extension attribute to capture the soap messages before
serialization/deserialization , and I'm pretty sure that correct responses are
comming from the web service, and that problem is on .net deserialization
phase.
Does anyone have any clue, or faced this issue before?

Hi Fabricio.
we are facing the same problem.
Did you receive any answers, hints or solutions to your problem ?
It must be a problem with .NET 2.0
The SOAP-Message to be deserialized looks just fine and did not cause any problem with .NET 1.1
Thanx for your response !

Did this problem start after the recent security updates from Microsoft?
They are known to have broken many diverse parts of .NET, including
serialization.S ee ".NET Framework 2.0 security update breaks my
XmlSerializer" at http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/Sho...50095&SiteID=1.

Summary:
I have been trying to make requests of a web service provided by Axis using
a dotnet client with code generated by wsdl.exe and have
been getting exceptions when trying to process the response.
As a result of seraching news groups I guessed that the SOAP response
defines an array element in a way that causes the dotnet deserialization
routines to put the content in a generic object array (object) BUT the
content is supposed to...

I've got a web service that returns an int. When called from most
clients, it works fine. The .NET framework'd wsdl.exe, though,
generates a stub that fails to get the values in the array.
The WSDL is at:
http://designacourse.com/services/MainService?wsdl
The code looks like this (with passwords blanked out):

Hi all!
I have a couple of questions regarding the SOAP serialized from classes
generated by Visual Studio from a wsdl. The SOAP server is written in
Smalltalk using the VisualAge Sst framework. There are some differences in
the SOAP messages constructed from the WSDL in the two products, and I need
help to better understand and control the .NET side

Hi all,
My webservice throws an exception, which is translated into a soap
Fault in the soap message body. See below for the actual message format
as it is send by the server. On the (dotNet) client I get (catch) this
as a SoapException (or SoapHeaderException). The SoapException contains
various (string type) fields. For example, the Message fields contains
the fully qualified name of the exception on the server side. The...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
