Hello all, I am hoping someone out there will be able to help me. I am trying to install a program that utilizes NumPy. In installing NumPy, I realized that I was lacking Atlas. I ran into the following problems installing Atlas and NumPy, as I realized that NumPy could be installed using the Mac OSX veclib already built in. If anyone has any ideas on how to fix either of these, I would be most grateful. I am fairly new to Python...

Hi, I had asked this question on the asp website but no ans. How can I move the Atlas Progress Indicator on a page. It seems to default only to the top. I have three textbox and a button on a page. When the user clicks on the button I want three of the animated progress indicator to be at the side of each textbox because they are calling three different services on three different servers. Please advice. Thanks

Hi, I am using ASP.Net 2.0 along with C# and Atlas. I have some image panels alongwith asp:panel controls. Hi! I am creating a composite control the does some of it`s own data access. I want to display a progress bar between the time the page is loaded and the control place holder is displayed and final display of the data from the database. I was thinking of manually opening a second thread in the Render method, but nothing is displayed before the render method exits anyway. Anyone know of a good way to do this? I have been working on this...

I have atlas update panel which works perfect for couple of hours. Then it stops render part of page when trigger fires submit. Just render nothing. And that happens on all of my pages, where I use atlas. What that could be? I tried to create and define triggers in page_init event but still the same. I have to remove atlas from all pages because my users are complaining. And I can't even test this behaviour because on the beggining it...

I'm building a web utility to do some processing that will run for several hours. Assume I have a valid reason for using the web for the utility. During the process I'd like to display an update on the job's status while not stopping the process that is running. It does not need to be pretty. I'd be quite happy with a quick Response.Write("Job has finished consuming 300 of 9356 bananas"); or similar. I don't care if the message is...

I have an UpdatePanel on one of my aspx pages with a ListBox, Image, and a TextBox inside it. When an item is selected in the list box my codebehind file displays a new picture in the image and new text in the TextBox. It works wonderful in I.E. 6. No Postback - no extra code. BUT... It does not work right in I.E. 7 (nor FireFox 2.0). The textbox refreshes but the image does not refresh (however the aspect ratio of the picture does...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
