Apache to IIS and back

2 New Member
I want to redirect requests to asp.net pages from apache to IIS. Is there any way I can do it? Without using MONO.

The Apache is running under Linux. While the ASP.Net pages are hosted under IIS. My point is to display the asp.net pages through Apache.

Request should go to Apache.. Apache forwards the call to IIS... IIS throws the result to Apache.. and Apache throws the output to the browser.

Thanks in advance..

I'm trying to get PHP authentication (using the headers to request authentication, and then checking $_SERVER and $_SERVER) - however, no matter what I do, I can't seem to get it to work. The login request box pops up fine, but when I enter the correct details, it just pops back up again, and then again, before finally dumping me at the authentication failed page. I've tried looking at phpinfo(), and PHP_AUTH_USER and PHP_AUTH_PASSWD are...

Hi folks, i have a problem using a PHP script as a custom handler in Apache. What i wanna do is this: Whenever a .html file is requested by a browser, i want Apache to call a CGI that outputs a header, then the requested file and then a footer. I want to use PHP for this, as i also want to do some template parsing. Well, basically, this can be done using Apache's mod_action module,

Hi All, Is there a way in PHP to know what all the content-types that Apache knows about are? Basically, what I want to be able to do is look at an extension, and then know what content-type Apache would send by default it that file was requested via HTTP. Is there a way to do this? -Josh

Hello, I am testing a web application (using the DBX PHP function to call a Postgresql backend). I have 375Mb RAM on my test home box. I ran ab (apache benchmark) to test the behaviour of the application under heavy load. When increasing the number of requests, all my memory is filled, and the Linux server begins to cache and remains frozen. ab -n 100 -c 10 http://localsite/testscript

I'm having some odd issues, but I'm not sure exactly the cause of them, but postgres is the component in the system that is throwing the errors, so I thought I'd start here. I have built a web application that uses postgres (7.3.2) as its backend, with the front being an Apache2/mod_perl solution. I've printed what I think the relevant versions are below. Anway, DBD::Pg throws random errors into my logs, along the lines of what is...

I am starting the design phase of a large project (ERP) where the backend will mostly be Python (or Ruby) providing web services. In this type of usage, is there any benenfit to running under Apache as opposed to a pure Python solution using Medusa, TwistedMatrix, or the like? Thanks, Matt

I've installed Apache 1.3.36 on my Redhat EL 3 machine. Now I'm trying to install PHP 5.1.4. I can not get the ./configure command to work. I keep getting this error: configure: error: Invalid Apache directory - unable to find httpd.h under /usr/local/apache/include So then I run this command: find / -name httpd.h

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
