I am using Microsoft Visual C#.NET. Right now I had created TreeView and ListView in the Window Form.
I have whole bunch of files in my local computer. I would like to port these existing files from my local computer to the window form that I created and display the folder views such as Details similar to the folder view setting in our local computer.
1) The problem right now is how to integrate the existing files in my local computer to the nodes of treeview control?
2) Then, how to display the folder views details such as Name file, Date, Size in ListView control. In others word, when I click/select on the entire node in the TreeView, the details of the selected node will display in ListView control.

The tree view is confusing to load. If you google for "C#" and Treeview, you'll find examples and tutorials. They'll do a better job than I can.

Can ListView have some event just like the event BeforeSelect of
TreeView?
When a user try to select another item in the ListView, I would like to
do some checking first. If the result is true, then prevent the current item
jump to another one. In TreeView, I can set e.Cancel = true in the event
BeforeSelect. However, can I do similar thing in ListView?

I have a listview and a treeview in a form . With an OpenDialog I let the
user select multiple files and then these files are added to the listview
with the complete pathname, while they are added to the treeview without the
path (only file name). I'd like the user would be able to remove multiple
items selecting filenames from the listview.
