Invalid Email 5.5.4

I was getting the dreaded “Could not create CDO.Message”. Microsoft advises
that CDOEX.DLL should be unregistered (This is a MS 2003 Sharepoint server
that relays mail via a 2003 Exchange Server). My asp.net application was
working fine until SQL Server 2005 was installed (with all components). I
successfully unregistered C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft
Shared\CDO\CDOE X.dll from the MS 2003 Sharepoint server and the 'Could not
create CDO.Message error is gone'. I can now send mail to our domain only,
outside email gernerates the Invalid Email 5.5.4 message.

Also, I followed the instructions in Q153119 (Telnet to port 25 to Test SMTP
Communication) on the sahrepoint server and found that email cannot be sent
outside our domain.

Our Exchange 2003 server's relay has the IP address of the Sharepoint server
and worked fine until a new instance of SQL server 2005 was installed.

Thanks in advance.

Dave

I stumbled across this (while using my homebrewn enum class): class test: pass instance = test() setattr(instance, "THIS :*2+~# IS OBVIOUSLY INVALID", 123) I would've expected some kind of error message here when calling setattr(); after all, its not a regular attribute? Plus, documentation

Hello. For years I've been using the DBEngine.CompactDatabase code to make backups of backend databases. But now I've struck a baffling problem where I get an Invalid Argument error. This happens on an XPHome machine with both A97 and A2000 installed. I simplified the code and the error still occurs. In the following new test database containing only this procedure, dbSource refers to a brand new database with no objects which is...

A user inputs a float value. The scanf() function gets the value. However, I need to create an error handler with an if else statement saying invalid input if the input is not a number. Does anybody know how I could do this?

OK, I realize that what I am asking here is not likely to have a answer within the C standard. Nonetheless, it is not specific to any particular platform, so I'll hazard the question anyway. A C double can be aliased by an array of unsigned char, to which any desired byte pattern may be written. Is there any somewhat portable way of assigning a byte pattern such that the result will, with very high probability, _not_ count as a valid...

Hello together, the program below shows a behavior i do not understand. When compiled with the HX-UX11 c-comiler ( version B.11.11.04 ) v2.p in function test_it0 points to an invalid adress and an attempt to write to this pointer causes the program to exit with a core dump. Output after compiling with HP c-compiler: 1. ffffff78 1. 7eff3358

I'm running into an Invalid Cast Exception on an ASP.NET application that runs fine in my development environment (Win2K server running IIS 5) and a test environment (also Win2K server running IIS 5), but fails on IIS 6 running on a Win2003 server. The web uses Pages derived from a custom class I wrote (which itself derives from Page) to provide some common functionality. The Page_Load handler the failing webpage starts out like this: ...

I get the following Exception "The data at the root level is invalid. Line 1, position 642" whenever I try to deserialize an incoming SOAP message. The incoming message is formed well and its length is 642 bytes ( I have appended it to the end of this message). I suspect that the reason may have something to do with an incorrect declaration of which class to de-serialize to. In the attached code I substituted @@@@@@@ in the code below with...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
