Dear all,
I have an application which is suppose to start another executable process.
As soon as that process is running, I need to retrive its handle. The
problem of the particular process I am starting is that it has a welcome
window first which gets displayed and then the real windows after a while,in
other words it means that the process name is the same, but the handle I need

I joined a company recently and they have a java program which hangs
(does nothing) after a while. This is no way consistent. It could
succeed quite a few times and can fail a few other times. There is no
consistency when it fails.
Could anyone here shed some light on how to debug/resolve the issue. I
guess IBM looked at the issue and were not able to pinpoint where the
issue is.

I always found that web page written by ASP.NET (VB.NET) generate error when
starting at the first times. If I click refresh button on the IE again, it
can work as well.
What's wrong ?
Again if I terminate process aspnet_wp.exe, it will generate again ONLY at
the times to read page.

I have recently started working on .Net platform.
I am facing one problem in killing and starting process from my aspx page.
I am able to kill and start the same process from vb.net but failed to do it from asp.net
the exception that i am getting is :: "Couldn't get process information from remote machine."
although i am doing it from the same machine from where i did it successfully using vb.net. don't know the route...

Inside a HttpHandler I'm trying to spawn an EXE (console app).
Although it shows up in the process list, it doesn't seem to do
anything. (And even if I specify ProcessWindowStyle.Normal, it doesn't
show the cmd.exe box.) I've tried with and without UseShellExecute, and
even using "cmd.exe /c myprog.exe myargs..."
Launching the process from a seperate project (not IIS) seems to work
fine.
Is this a permissions issue? (Though as I said, it...

Can anyone point in me the right direction for starting a scheduled task on
a remote PC.
I have a process that runs on a local database then want to launch a process
on a remote PC that update spreadsheets that rely on the new data. Am also
open to other suggestions on how best to do this.

- launch the command providing a timeout in seconds, it will wait until

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
