Hi,
I'm using xmlDocument.Save(xmlTextWriter) to create an Excel-readable
file. All works well, except where I've replaced the carriage return
chars in the .innertext to XML-compliant "
"; It gets changed to
"&#10" and doesn't render new lines in the Excel sheet.
Can anyone help?
Many thanks,

Hello, I am working on cleaning up some code that I inherited and was
wondering if there is anything wrong with my function. I am fairly
proficient in standard C++ but I am pretty new to the .NET managed C++.
It seems to work fine, but everyone knows that programs with errors can
still appear to "work fine" :)
I am working with VS .NET 2003; I am unable to upgrade to 2005 at this
time, so I cannot use the newer syntax or features.

When using XMLDocument.Save(strFileName) in .NET 2005, is there a way to
check (or trap) and see if the file is in use by another. I am using VB.NET.
Currently it just bombs and says the filename is in use by another. I want
to check or trap for this rather than blow-up. I tried using a Try...Catch,
but it bombs deep in the DOM, where I don't have control of it.
Here is the Code
Me.XMLDocument.Save(strFileName)

How can I allow someone to cast my C# class into System.String? Is it
possible in C#? In C++ I used "operator" keyword to mark C++ member
function.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...
