I think the .NET framework is great!
It's nice, clean and logical; in contradiction to the old Microsoft.
It only saddens me that the new Microsoft still doesn't under stand there own rules when it comes to file paths.
A lot of Microsoft installers for example, and also installers of other companies, do not work because they handle paths in the following manner:

Is it possible to find out what the tablespace definitions are of
database you are about to build using a redirected restore?
What I am wanting to do is build a script that can take only a backup
file of a database and do a redirected restore into another database.
This means I may not know or have access to the database where the
backup originated at. It seems like once you start the redirected
restore there is no way to do a list...

Hi,
I am doing a redirected restore from an offline backup file. All
the paths and files have been created and I managed to do all the set
tablespaces commands. But once I do the "restore db <dbnamecontinue"
it gives me the following error
db2 =restore db cdbdwp1 continue
SQL2059W A device full warning was encountered on device "DATA32".
Do you want to continue(c), terminate this device only(d), abort the
utility(t) ? (c/d/t)

ds1.Tables.Rows.ItemArray.GetValue(0).ToString() contains the
string path: images/5/Video1/qbert.flv
if (File.Exists(ds1.Tables.Rows.ItemArray.GetValue(0).ToString()))
{
//code to execute
}
Despite the path exist along with the file name, the code never gets
executed.

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
