Using a bit of code to produce alternate line shading in a report.
Seems it should work for a form as well but no luck. Does anyone have
any ideas what I need to change or if it is even possible to alternate
shade a form???
Private Sub Alternate_Detail_Format(Cancel As Integer, FormatCount As
Integer)
Const vbLightGrey = 12632256

When the ASP.NET menu is rendered on downlevel browers, the text "^ up one
level" is displayed.
Any ideas how I can change that text? I did not find a property for the menu
control where I can change it.

I am able to set the alternate row color using
AlternatingRowsDefaultCellStyle. however, if my grid is not fully
filled, the alternate row color will not apply for blank rows. How can
I fill the blank rows with alternate color as well. Thanks.

Ok. I haven't been around for a while, so I hope someone will come to my
rescue. I thought I had done this years ago, but I have scoured my code
snippets and can't find it.
I want my ListView control to have a different background colour on
alternate rows. I'm using VS2005.
Firstly, I'm surprised that I can't do it out of the box. But...

I was considering putting together a proposal for an alternate block
syntax for python, and I figured I'd post it here and see what the
general reactions are. I did some searching, and while I found a lot
of tab vs space debates, I didn't see anything like what I'm thinking
of, so forgive me if this is a very dead horse.
Generally...

HI,
I would like to get the text (only the text) of a word document via the DSO
Framer.
The returned value should be similar to saving a WORD document as text (.TXT).
Note that I don't want to save the file to disc as TXT file. I just want to
get the text as a (very long :-)) string.
Is it possible?
If so, how?

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...

I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in...
