I'm trying to use the ReadXmlSchema method of the DataSet class from behind a firewall/proxy server and can't get it to work. I can run the code on a machine not behind the firewall and it works fine, but I can't figure out a way to get ReadXmlSchema to use a Proxy
This works with no proxy server but gets a (403) error when run behind the firewall

I have seen this type of question raised in various groups but no one has supplied a definitive answer. I am trying to load a dataset schema that has an xs:include. Project policy is to have all schemas as embedded resources but there appears to be no means by which the DataSet.ReadXmlSchema method can be induced to use a custom Xmlresolver in order to supply the embedded referenced schema.

I would not have thought that getting a DataGrid connected to a DataSet
(read in from an XML file) would be this complicated. I cannot get this to
work. I have read everything I could find and modeled all the examples
given but this grid just refuses to behave nicely.

Good day to all --
I have been trying to load a dataset from XML based on a multi-level
schema structure that uses <xsd:importtags to bring other schemas into the
XML document context - Schema1 imports Schema2 which then imports Schema3. I
have not been having much success.
Based on the above experience, I have a couple of questions:
1) Can the Dataset class handle multi-level schemas as defined above? If
not, thanks for your time.

I'm trying to validate input from an xml source to a dataset in
dotnet2.0. As far as I can see, type errors correctly cause an
exception, but values that are the correct type but do not satisify
xsd:restriction conditions are ingested without a murmur. Is this a bug
or a feature?

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
