RemotingConfigu ration.Configur *e Fails in SmartClient with System.Argument Exception: URI

Hello everyone,

I have an applciation that uses remoting. When the application is run
via a
local copy it works. When it is run via an HTTP address
RemotingConfigu ration.Configur e fails. Apparently this method can not
find
the configuration file even though other parts of my application can
use
ConfigurationSe ttings.AppSetti ngs with no problem.
I have seen one other post on this topic but there really was no
solution.
Has anyone solved this problem?

This is my exception:

Hi,

The RemotingConfigu ration.Configur e method does not support URI formats for
the filename parameter, just like the exception states.

One workaround may be to use ClickOnce deployment instead.

Can you tell me if it is possible to use the PropertyGrid control in a SmartClient deployed through IE, without modifying the security policy. The error I get is System.Security.SecurityException: Request Failed. This is the first control that I have had problems with using the Forms components.
