I'm not sure if this is the right group to post this. If not, then I
would appreciate if somebody could point me to the correct group.
This is my first time releasing software to the public and I'm wanting
to release a Python program I wrote for review (and critique) and
testing on other platforms, but also I would like to explore the...

I have an Access 97 database I've developed to be distributed as an MDE
with the A97 Runtime. I've got the application completed to the point
I'm ready to begin testing on other machines, but the application won't
install reliably using the ODE Wizard.
If you own a copy of Sagekey, I will pay you a fee to package my app
rather than my...

Hi all,
I am new to Visual C++. I need to implement a software
install program, which at one point needs to display a
screen of licensing text, possibly scrollable. At the
bottom, it needs the usual "Accept" and "Decline"
buttons.
I would like the text to be able to come from a text file
so that it can be changed without rebuilding...

Thank you all who have commented on the licensing issues surrounding
The Python Papers.
For the time being, the board and I have decided to continue using the
Creative Commons Noncommercial, Attribution and Share-Alike license as
the standard license for articles contained in The Python Papers.
However, a number of reasonable concerns have...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...
