Hi,
I'm using the DataGridView in VB.NET 2.0. The DataSource is a Generic List
of a custom class0: lstMyPersonnes = New List(Of clsPersonne).
When I add a new clsPersonne to lstMyPersonnes, and rebind the
lstMyPersonnes to my DataGridView.dataSource, it shows the new record in
the DataGridView as it should be.
But when I click on a cell of that row, I suddenly got this error: "Index -1

Hey everyone, I know this has to be simple, but can't figure out how to
do it. How can I display the grid lines in all rows in the gird. The
default behavior of the DataGridView seems to be that it only shows
grid lines around rows that have data in it. If there are not enough
rows to fill the height of the grid, then the grid lines don't show up
around the "empty rows" I say "empty rows" because there actually a row
there. So it seems...

I'm working on reading data from a spreadsheet and outputing it into a
datagridview in a windows form (.net 2.0). The problem I've found is that I'm
getting 84 rows where only one cell is populated, instead of 7 rows with with
12 cells populated. I think the problem is that I don't understand how to use
an ArrayList properly, or I need to use a more appropriate collection... but
then again it could be something completely different.
The...

I am a .NET newbie, specifically WinForms. I have a simple Winform for which
I have a "How To" question:
My WinForm app will display data from a FoxPro database, two tables in
particular: Patients, and Sessions. There is one record in the Patients table
for each patient. The PatientID is the primary key. The sessions table
contains all of the visits that all of the patients have made to the lab.
There is a one-to-many relation between...

Hi All :)
I'm converting VB6 using True DBGrid Pro 8.0 to VB2005 using DataGridView. True DBGrid has a MultipleLines property that controls whether individual records span multiple lines. Is there an equivalent property for the DataGridView? I have searched, but have not found one.
I would like the user to be able to see all the columns of the table on one screen - thus eliminating the need to use the horizontal scroll bar to view...

Hi guys,
I have a quick question which i have pondered for a little while. I'm not sure if its even a good idea (so maybe advice on whether or not to do it would be helpful as well).
I want to have my first datagridview to have a multi-select (which i have currently), but what i want to happen when multiple rows are selected is different. I have a sub datagridview which is using a relationship in a dataset which allows the two...

I have 3 related tables in a DataSet - Customers, Products and Orders.
I am trying to create an "editable" DataGridView which, ideally, will contain columns from all the tables. I have tried creating the joins in the TableAdapter SQL, but this results in a read-only data grid.
Customers and Orders are joined in a 1:M relationship by CUSTID.
Products and Orders are joined in a 1:M relationship by PRDID.
When the user adds a new...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
