Does anyone know why, when adding a panel to a web form,
the text boxes, labels, buttons, etc. are hidden behind
the panel, but drop-down lists are not? Every time I make
my panel visible (pnlError.visible = true), I have to make
the drop-down lists invisible (lstProgram.visible =
false). Any advice is appreciated, thanks

Sorry, but this ia another whine about VB.Net's lack of
Control Arrays. I am new to VB.Net and I'm building an
application that uses variable number of Label controls
that are created at run time. The number of label
controls will vary between 50 and 200. I have created an
array of labels and placed them on the form. It works
great, BUT I have not been able to raise any events for
these controls. I made a small demo with 9 labels...

Are there control arrays in vb.net 2005?
Maybe some one could help me out with an example. I know how to this in VB6.
My database is called Planner.mdb
There is a table called Weekdays.
I want to read the first record in, and use that to set my labels as follows
me.lblDay1 = WeekDays!Day1
me.lblDay2 = WeekDays!Day2
and so on. In VB6 I would have done this in a for loop. Something like
me.lblDays(iLoop_ = rsWeekdays("Day" & iLoop)

In my application, I have many forms. Some of these forms contains some
labels, which are placed in the header section, and act as a column
header. Because of the available space, the orientation is vertical.
This application (A2K format) is used by many users on different
platforms and with both A2K and A2K3, without problems.
However, one of the users reports that in the forms with vertical
labels, the text is invisible. When these...

I have several VB6 applications that I am rewriting in VB2005 Express. I used invisible control arrays to place labels over snapshots on a thumbnail screen. Choosing one of the thumbs would open the enlarged version of that thumb from a file folder of jpgs. Unfortunately VB2005 no longer has a way to make a click event on a particular portion of a larger thumbnail screen. I just need an idea from anyone who has one. I thought of tracking cursor...

I'm a recent convert to VB.net from VB6...and I can't believe they don't
support control arrays. I have an app that uses a ton of Control
Arrays...mostly labels and text boxes.
I need some guidance on how to proceed...including any third party tools.
Thanks

I would like to know what is the best way to create control arrays of Labels
and be able to index them? I am a former VB6 programmer that was used to
plopping controls on the form and have the arrays created automatically.
Please provide a snippet of code or good reference site on C# on how to do
this thanks.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
