If it is not the right place to ask this, please tell me.
Otherwise, if someone could help me doing the following:
How to get all the details of the files that the OS gets when viewing
them in a folder? Both Windows and Linux solutions are welcome (well,
maybe it'd be better to start with an easier solution. I usually write
programs in Python and I've just read a few C and C++ tutorials. Also I
read how to extend Python with C/C++, so...

I am attempting to run setup on a v7.2 EE CD using a response file as
input. This should result in my existing server configuration being
replicated on a new server. My problem is that I have 18 instances
that need to be created by the setup process, and it appears that the
response file (db2udbee.rsp) must have a linesize limitation that
limits the actual number of instances I can specify with the
SETUP_INSTANCES keyword. I have tried...

Is it possible to install DB2 CAE v5.2 using a response file ? From
one of IBMs tech article, I found that the IBM DB2 Universal DB can be
installed using a response file. My objective it to install and
uninstall DB2 CAE v5.2 without user input like navigating through the

I have following structure in c++.
typedef struct MMF_result_struct
{
int action;
char text;
int cols,rows;
int month,day,year;
} MMF_result;
Now this structure is shared between C++ and C# using memory mapped file. We already have C++ code for handling memory mapped file. I am working on converting code for memory mapped file in C#. Now I have to pass pointer to the above structure. I converted this structure to C# as follows:

I am pretty much lost here - I am trying to create a managed c++
wrapper for this dll, so that I can use it from c#/vb.net, however, it
does not conform to any standard style of coding I have seen. It is
almost like it is trying to implement it's own COM interfaces...
below is the header, and a link to the dll+code:
Zip file with header, example, and DLL:...

I've been dealing with a file locking issue for a while.
Our CMS spits out a new XML file each time an item in the DB is updated.
This XML file is basically our site menu, and is what we use on the front
end to render out site's navigation, site map, breadcrumbs, etc.
We're using it because it's more efficient to just cache the XML file rather
than doing recursive DB calls on each page load.
We ran into a problem where, as far as we...

Is there anything in c# like using an external file or an include
file to store some of your functions? It's getting really hard to
find your way around when you have so many functions in your
main file.
Thanks

Hi All,
I want to build two separate EXEs using one .dsw file. That
dsw file will load two different DSPs for two different projects. One
project would use gcc cross compiler but other project would use
standard cl.exe compiler.
These projects will share some header files but *.c file
will be mutually exclusive.
Does anyone know how to do this?

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
