I've read an online C tutorial and a book but I don't really know enough to work
on any real projects. What comes in between in the process of learning C?

This has worked perfectly for the past year now all the sudden it will not
compile the installer project correctly. All our source code is in a Source
Safe database so every system we do this on should be identicle. On one
system the installer project will compile correctly, but on two others it
will fail with this error.

Hi,
Is there a way to set a path (on computer or project basis) where the
project should search for referenced assemblies?
I have a build program in which I build all projects into the same
directory. However, since my projects have project references instead of
direct assembly references I get an error when trying to build a project
that's referencing another project. Is there a way to make my projects to
search for references in this...

Hi all..
I have a solution containing 5 projects, one of which is a custom control.
In one of the projects, I dragged the .ascx file from the custom control
project and dropped it onto a form. I've also referenced the custom control
project. Everything looks good, I can see properties and events, etc. The
solution builds with no errors.
The folder structure loks like this. The folder Fleet is the top level
solution with sub folders...

I'm looking for a collection of useful programming projects, at
the "hobbyist" level.
My online search did turn up a few collections (isolated projects
are less useful to me at the moment), but these projects are either
more difficult than what I'm looking for (e.g. code a C compiler)

I created a walkthrough and couldn't connect to my sql server. I looked up
the problem and MSDN told me to create an ASPNET "User" in SQL Svr.
It worked, but is that right? Do I have to do that for web projects. How
does that user relate to the other users? I'm not seeing the logic. I
thought maybe a "Role" that I could assign all users to would make more
sense, but why have an ASPNET in SQL at all?

kinda confused.
I have this folder called C:\PROJECTS with a bunch of projects .. some
are websites, some are webservices, one is a console ap, another is a
Data Access layer (I presume classes).
I'm suppose be taking over support for this code so the folder was
dropped off on my local machine.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
