Hi. I have a vb.net/asp.net application, originally created in VS2003. I'm
upgrading it to VS2005, and have found that Public Functions in a module are
no longer accessable in my application.
My code looks like this - and in this example I cannot call Function 123
within my application.

What must I do to expose functions within a module?

A few questions about the following code. How would I "wrap" this in a
function, and do I need to?
Also, how can I make the code smart enough to realize that when a file
has 2 or more bad charcters in it, that the code needs to run until all
bad characters are gone? For example, if a file has the name
"<bad*mac\file" the program has to run 3 times to get all three bad
chars out of the file name.

function definitions, using a typical 'open()' call, but then have
those functions available for use.

I have a question concerning function declarations. When exactly do you have
to declare functions if you want to use them? I have two functions main()
and foo(), respectively defined in main.c and foo.c. There is no declaration
of foo() inside main.c, but main() calls foo().
If I compile both files (using gcc's -c option), and then link them, main()
calls foo() without any problem. How come ? Wasn't I suppose to declare...

I have upgraded my ASP.Net/VB solution from 2003 to 2005. In 2003 I had a VB
Module with global functions referenced in virtually all ASP.Net VB modules.
After the upgrade to 2005 the ASP.Net VB code no longer recognizes my global
VB Module functions.

functions via exec. I then want to be able to import the file (module)
containing this function and use it in other modules, but for some
reason it only works using the "import <mod>" syntax, and not "from
<modimport *" syntax... i.e. in the latter case, the function is

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
