To all those who use (X)Emacs's CC Mode to edit C, C++, Java,
Objective-C, Pike, AWK or IDL:
To help direct the development of CC Mode, it would be useful to find out
how people use the auto-newline "minor mode" facility. If you could
spare a little time, would you answer these questions, please:
o Do you program with auto-newline...

Hi all
One of the textboxes on a form seem to accepts the newline character while
the AcceptReturn is set to False.
Is there any way to avoid it?
Thank you,
Shmuel

I am looking for a way to strip the blank line and the empty newline at
the end of the text file. I can get the blank lines removed from the
file but it always leaves the end line (which is blank) as a newline. My
code is here and it works but leaves the newline at the end of the file.
How do I get rid of it?

Hello,
I am noticing that text data comming from Web Service to client comes back
with chr(10) /n only, rather than chr(10) + chr(13) /n/r.
I checked through a breakpoint in web service text data does have /n/r, but
on a client side, it comes out as /n.
It causes formatting issues in older VB6 clients’ textboxes and on some
reports.

Hi
I would like to ask a little bit about the value Environment.Newline: what
is it and what is the point of it? Ok, I can see in the docs that it
represents "newline" for the current platform - I assume that it is a
runtime property, and not compile time?
But won't it always be the same anyway - does dotnet run on anything other
than...

Hi,
I read in many places that the string to be outputted by printf()
must be ending with newline, for example, it should be
printf("Hello World.\n");
instead of
printf("Hello World.");

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...
