replicate the GAC on win2003 server?

mg
Is there a way to replicate the GAC on a win2003 server to another similar
server? We are currently using DFS to replicate files, and I do not see how
to use DFS to replicate the GAC.

we are using db2 udb v8.2 Express edition on windows 2003,we use third party vendor software to help replicate one server to another. Production server has three instances, each instances has one database under it. So we would see three folders on D drive: DB2 folder, TEST folder and EDU folder, each database has 5 tablespaces and they exist on F drive. So I told the client to replicate the three instance folders on D and the data folder...

Please share with me any ideas you may have for troubleshooting and resolving the subject problem. I can give more details as necessary. (Please advise if I should post this problem to a more specific group.) Here's the situation in a nutshell. We're using WinXP Pro workstations configured to a common standard on a nation-wide intra-network and we recently migrated one operation involving networking with a WinNT server (with...

I'm having a major problem with an ASP application. Our ASP code has been migrated from NT4 (IIS4.0) to a Win2003 (IIS6.0) server. However, there seems to be a problem with the VB scripts. Whenever a VB function is called I get a Runtime Error "Object Expected". These are client-side scripts so I cant see how having a different server is making such an impact. Does anyone know what processes are going on in IIS 6.0 or Win2003 which is...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
