IIS is a web server. You don't use ODBC with IIS. You use ODBC with a
database and your application code. IIS never even knows about it.

Hello Everyone, I have had an ODBC link between Access and Oracle at work for some time now which has worked without problem. The other day, one of our technicians came to change the name of my machine. Despite my best efforts, I could not keep him off my machine and sure enough, my ODBC linking to Oracle is now incredibly slow. I've tried...

I am using the MySQL ODBC 3.51 driver to link three relatively small MySQL tables to a Microsoft Access 2003 database. I am finding that the data from the MySQL tables takes a hell of a long time to load making any kind linkage with my Access data virtually useless. I have the MySQL driver setup in as a USER DSN. The MySQL data is...

Can anyone give me an example of the SQL to create the appropriate view and catalog table? 2. Is there anyway via the ODBC datasource parameters to influence the...

Hiyo, I'm trying to import a CSV file into a datatable using either ODBC or OLEDB. One of the columns contains an IP Address. For some reason, the IP address will not display correctly. All of the other information in the CSV is accurate. For example, 10.80.34.100 displays as 10.8034. All the IPs in the column are displayed like this.

I see how to do this using SQLConfigDataSource() and that works ok. Thing is, how to handle if the source already exists. Is there a way to check & see if...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
