Hi there, Anybody an idea which phpscript I could use for a helpdesk. E-Mail messages sent to support@blabla.com should automaticaly being transfered to the system and email the user back with a ticketnumber. After that ofcourse should be the rest for handling the tickets. If possible... freeware ;) Greetings,

Greetings, I have been working on a software application in PHP for a few years now, and it is finally "ready" for some testing. I was wondering what was the best way to get a solid group of folks willing to provide actual feedback, not just "yeah its great", or "yeah, it stinks.". I am willing to grant free licenses for the software and was curious what other incentives would really prove worthy of the tester's time.

.... when no one here has an answer? Does MS offer support for its programming products where that support doesn't cost an arm and a leg, but where you can at least get a response? I'm not trying to be a jerk, I know that support on these newsgroups is voluntary, and I'm not jumping on anyone for not being able to answer some of the questions that are asked here. It just gets frustrating when a component in a MS product like ASP.NET

I have a client who wants to sell tickets online for his annual show. I said we could set up a paypal account to handle the money, but that it would be best to mail the tickets, or hold them at will call, but told him I would look into it anyway. It is easy enough to print a ticket, but as far as I can see validation and duplication are a problem. Any thoughts on how to integrate a payment transaction with a ticket delivery system...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
