XPath Generation Tool

Hi All,

I've been writing an XPath genration tool in .NET that has GREAT
potential for business applications where exact XPaths are needed.
Currently the tool is share ware however it can be used indefinately
without purchasing.

We have been using this at work for quite some time and it performs
like a dream. I highly recommend this tool for any individual or
business that is in need of generating valid XPath queries.
This tool handles complex queries and is very stable. Any comments are
welcome. I would love for this tool to become a valuable resource for
you and your company.
Check it out!

All, I am new to XSLT and having some problems understanding the syntax of XPath which selects nodes in the XML document. Consider this bit of XML, which contains three outer XML elements. <FOO>foo.top.level</FOO> <BOO><FOO>foo.second.level</FOO></BOO> <CHOO><BOO><FOO>foo.third.level</FOO></BOO></CHOO>

What is a good tool for running XPath queries on Linux? I have the O'Reilly XPath book and I'm using XPath Visualizer on Windows and that seems to work fine, but I'm looking for something on Linux. I've tried Quanta. It seems to be able to run the xsltproc processor to do XSLT transformations but it doesn't seem to cope with interactively typing in XPath expressions. (As a side note, what other tools are useful with XML on Linux and...

Hi! I need to generate source code (mainly Java) from a domain specific XML language, preferably from within a Python environment (since that's where the XML is generated). I tried using XSLT, but I found that I need a template system that supports Python interaction. I know, lxml's XSLT support is /somewhat/ getting there, but even with that, XSLT is so clumsy when it comes to code generation (looping constructs and if/else above...

Where I can find to download "Manifest Generation and Editing Tool (Mage.exe) " or "Manifest Generation and Editing Tool, Graphical Client (MageUI.exe) ". Is there any other tool which will help me to include with an application (developed using VB6.0) an embedded manifest that defines its execution level. And how to generate a manifest for an exe. thanks Nethesh Kannan

Hi; We have a TreeView that represents an xml file (or it's schema is a more accurate statement). We want to have a double click on a node in the tree generate the XPath to get to that node. For the full tree it's easy. We walk up the parents getting the name of each node and put a / between each so we end up with /node1/node2 or node1/node2/@attr1

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
