VS2003: Trouble adding "Existing Project From Web"

I'm working in Visual Studio 2003 and I'm trying to add a web project
to a solution.
When I right-click on the solution and select "Add Existing Project
>From Web," I get a dialog that says "Enter the URL of the server that
you want to add the project from:" that is prepopulated with
"http://localhost."

When I click "OK," the "Add Existing Project" dialog comes up with the
"localhost" folder selected.
Inside this folder, I am expecting to see the "csproj" files inside my
"inetpub\wwroot " folder, but instead there are no items displayed.

Why can't I see any of my project files at the root of the web?

I have also tried specifying the machine name instead of "localhost, "
but it doesn't seem to make any difference.

Thanks in advance!
Jonathan

Hey folks, I just installed VS .NET 2003 on top of Windows 2003 Server. I was opening a Web Project from source control, and got a warning that the project would have to be "converted", and that I could no longer edit it in older versions of Visual Studio. What does this conversion entail. It seems like a 1 way path.

Lately I have been getting the following error with all of my web applications, in debug and release mode. "Error while trying to run project: Unable to start debugging on the web server. Could not start ASP.NET or ATL Server debugging. Verify that ASP.NET or ATL Server is correctly installed on the server." I can create a brand new hello world web application and this happens. Any ideas?

However, when I run the "Copy Project" function, I get this error.... Anybody can help me figure out the problem please?

I'm attempting to pull down a VS .NET solution from VSS onto a new PC. The solution contains a web application and several class library projects. I get the "Project location is not fully trusted" error when VS.NET tries to load the web application. The application is not on a network share. I've used the .NET configuration module as suggested by numerous posting, but I still get that error. I have a local copy of the application...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
