Stored procedure for recordset access

bic
I use sqlCommand object in conjunction with sqlDataReader but can't find a
method that can access a recordset that holds one new id from the SP's
select. Thanks.

SqlCommand salesCMD = new SqlCommand("sp_ GetEdgilTransac tionId ", nwindConn);
salesCMD.Comman dType = CommandType.Sto redProcedure;// StoredProcedure ;
nwindConn.Open( );
SqlDataReader myReader = salesCMD.Execut eReader();

Hello to All, I'm trying to retrieve records from AS/400 in an VBA application. So, I've made an RPG program, then a stored procedure wchich calls that RPG program, and finally some VBA code to call the stored procedure and retrieve data from AS/400. The problem is, that when I finally run my VB code, it just hangs. But when I call the same stored procedure from "pure" SQL - it works perfect. (I evaluate Aqua Data Studio 3.7) What I...

Perhaps many of you MS Access fanatics already know this, but it seems that stored procedures and views are possible in Jet. I thought I would leave this message just in case it would help anyone. I discovered this the other day while doing some experiments with ADO and ADO.NET. Basically, I wanted to run a stored MS Access query with parameters using the syntax Execute MyProcedure @Param1, @Param2...

I have a stored procedure that takes a number of inputs, does a bulk insert, and then outputs a recordset. When I run the stored procedure in Server Management Studio I also get a return value from the stored procedure which is an INT. I want to access this return value on my ASP/VBScript page, but do not know how to access it. Here is my code so far:
