Hi,
Our company currently has a SQL Server 2000 database with various client
information, accessed through an ASP driven intranet.
We also use Exchange 2000 and a shared contacts folder. Many of the contacts
are also in the SQL Db and when we get a new client, information is often
entered in both places.
What I would like to figure out how to do, hopefully via ASP is create a

In an application, I'd like to pop up the same form from Outlook that lets
me pick email address from my contacts. These contacts can be ones in the
Exchange Global Address List (GAL) or the user's personal address list.
Once selected, only the email (smtp) address, i.e., bob@bob.bob needs to be
kept.
Anyone seen any code for this? The .net language does not matter.

I'm trying to enumerate all the names in the global contacts on the exchange
server using CDO / ADO / (whatever I can).
In writing an ASP.Net support ticket application, I want to populate the
list of "Who reported this ticket" with names from the global contacts.
An extension of this would then be to allow the user to add a person to the

Hey all,
I finally found the necessary resources in the Exchange 2003 SDK to "pull"
Contacts out of Exchange and display them on a WebForm. I have been trying
to do this forever, and couldn't until the Exchange 2003 SDK came out.
Here's the code. Hopefully someone else can find this useful.
#region DisplayExchangeContacts
private void DisplayExchangeContacts()

We recently upgraded to Exchange2K3/W2K3 from Exchange2K/W2K, and some of my
c# code that I used to access users' contacts using WebDAV has stopped
working. I'm getting a 401 unauthorized error. Hopefully, I can explain this
adequately.
Prior to the upgrade the following code was working properly.
FYI: The site was running in the context of the domain administrator, and
was also using the Administrator account to create a CredentialCache...

Hi,
I'm writing an application which I'd like to be able to use to display
contact details from my Exchange 2003, Shared contacts folder.
I'm using VS2003 and C# Framework 1.1
I think(?) that I should be using CDO, but I haven't had a lot of success
finding some example code to do this. I'm hoping that someone will be able
to point me at something.

hi everyone,
i hope you might help me on this one. i need to create a contact in a
exchange public folder using dotnet (vb or c#) and exchange 2003, without
using outlook object model. i'm searching for a few hours and can't find a
clear example on how to do it. i've already seen code blocks using webdav,
directory services, but always related with creating active directory users
or mail enabling users, not exactly what i'm looking for....

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
