Let say, i have generated 5 mdichild forms, but i want to work with child form1 from MDI parent menu functions. if i select draw line in MDI parent, the line should be drawn in current active child..any URLS for this or guide me to achieve this communication...

Hi folks.
I've created an MDI form. In this form there are several panels, and
several splitters. There is a vertical panel docked on the left, and 2
horizontal panels docked on the top and bottom. This leaves an area (right
side, middle area) of the form available to load/unload other forms. I
don't want these other forms to have Max/Min/Close buttons, so I set the
"FormBorderStyle" Property equal to "None" on those forms that will...

Let's say I have an MDI parent form with a textbox. If I create an MDI
child form and, at runtime, move the MDI child window over the textbox on
the MDI parent, the textbox appears in front of the MDI child window.
How can I make the MDI child window appear in front of any controls that may
be on the MDI parent?

exit or the X button on the titlebar of the mdi child form, that form's
"closing" event fires and in that event I check to see if there are any
outstanding database changes that have not been saved. If there are I give

the child form and one under the parent titlebar

..NET 3.5: I have placed two controls at the top of an Mdi parent form.
The top-most control is a Panel that is docked to the Top.
Immediately below the Panel is a user control that is Anchored to the Top,
Left, and Right.
At runtme I can drag Mdi child forms toward the top of the Mdi parent. The

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
