Hi,
I got an error during load on a couple of
the tables. And it seems to be complaining that
I'm running out of tempspace (possibly during
index rebuild). Below is the load command and
error. What I do not understand is why DB2 is
trying to rebuild the index in TBS_STEMP03 even
though I explicitly tell it to use TBS_STEMP01
in the load statement. According to my calculation,
TBS_STEMP01 should have enough space for LOAD

Hi All,
Did somebody have a problem compiling some solution in VS2003? I get the
error every time that some files are locked and are using by another
process. I repeat compiling again and again and finally the compilation can
be finished successfully after several tries. What can be a reason of that?
I turned off my antivirus software, no results. Maybe it's just a bug of the
VS2003? I installed the latest service pack for the Studio...

On a project I have recently begun to work on (MFC app), I have been
repeatedly getting the following error. But it does not happen everytime
(sort of).
fatal error LNK1000: Internal error during Pass2
If I make some change to the code, it will happen CONSISTENTLY the first
time I try to build it. Guarranteed. Then, if I simply hit build again, it
will start on the linking step, and complete without error, again
guarranteed.

I'm building a solution that has 1 component for the Desktop and 1 component
for the Pocket PC. (Though this isn't a mobile question).
I have a data library that will be shared on both platforms. So I've
adopted the approach of having two projects share the same set of files. In
my case, I have two similarly named projects:
DataObjects
DataObjectsCF
The former is for the Desktop app and the latter is for the Compact Framework.

Hi all
I am just wondering how most people implement cleanup in C functions.
In particular, if the function opens a number of resources, these need
to be released properly should an error occur at any point in the
function (as well as at the end if successful). C++ has exceptions,
the only way I can see to do this neatly in C is to use goto
statements. Is my method of implementing cleanup good, or are their
better ways. Here is an...

I have a class (classA) that requires initialisation ONCE. It also
provides static methods that depend on various variables etc to have
been correctly initialised.
Some sample code to explain the scenario:
class ClassA
{
public:
~ClassA();

Hi,
I have not set the "upload_tmp_dir" in my php.ini, so I am assuming it
is using /tmp/.
From time to time, I noticed that some strange files appear in the /
tmp, and when I viewed it, I believe it is the temp file which somehow
not handled correctly by my scripts and leave in the /tmp/ folder.
I want to ask, will PHP delete the files under this folder from time

I've read that one method of repairing a misbehaving database is to
save all database objects as text and then rebuild them from the text
files. I've used the following code posted by Lyle Fairfield to
accomplish the first step:
Private Sub SaveObjectsAsText()
path = CurrentProject.path & "\ObjectsAsText\"
SaveDataAccessPagesAsText
SaveFormsAsText
SaveReportsAsText

Hi there,
I am currently trying to rebuild an application that was initially
designed for use on desktop PCs to be run over an RDC connection for
multiple users. Part of the redesign includes moving the location of
certain files which are created / edited by the user during the
application lifetime (before they were in a single location but this
will no longer suffice).
Anyway, my plan was to have the installer place the files into the

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
