Missing Configuration Manager in Visual Studio Toolbar?

WB
Hi,

I'm building a Windows application using Visual Studio 2005. For some
reason, the Configuration Manager is missing from my Toolbar. So now in order
to change my build mode (eg. Debug, Release), I have to go "Build" >
"Configurat ion Manager...".

Does anyone know how I can put the Configuration Manager back on to the
Toolbar?

For your information, I've already checked the option "Show advanced build
configurations" under "Tools" > "Options" > "Projects and Solutions" >
"General".. .

Go to Tools | Import Export Settings and reset your settings to General
Development Settings.

I don't know why the VS IDE Team instituted this "nerdy" Dilbert way of
changing UI settings en-masse instead of a nice drop down that easily and
QUICKLY lets you change UI views. Sometimes I think the guys who worked on
the VS2005 IDE were interns.

I have tried to run setup from source for PyOpenGL and PIL and on both I get this error "error: Python was built with version 6 of Visual Studio, and extensions need to be built with the same version of the compiler, but it isn't installed." I definitely have VS6 installed. I can't figure out were in the code this error is getting generated and it doesn't mention anything about VS in the distutils documentation. Does anyone know how...

This is driving me to insanity!!! I do not have a lot of experience with IIS which probably is not helping but as far as I can tell I am do things as per the MSDN documentation. I have a solution in Source Safe that I want to add some web service projects to. I create a folder under my solution folder for the new web service project. I have this edition installed. However, I found that at least two features are missing: 1) When I select Edit->Advanced->Format Selection, this doesn't format the selected section of the code; 2) When I highlight a variable, there is no "Quick Watch" on the menu. There is only "Add Watch". Are there other features missing from this edition?

Here is my issue: Consider me a relative idiot in Visual Studio/.NET. I started in this position two years ago and the development machine I am using was inherited from the previous developer. He had built several Windows CE applications using Visual Studio 2005. Within these apps, are many calls to SQL using SqlClient. Last week the development machine bit the dust. I have ressurected most everything with one exception. When I go to...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
