Greetings all,
Machine : PENTIUM
Os :Windows 2000
Product : DB2 UDB EE Release : 7.2
I've extracted data from a RDBMS database and try to load into DB2
database. I extracted the data in the form of delimited ASCII format.
The separator for
each colum is '|'

S**t for brains strikes again!
Why did I do that? When I met the clients and at some point they vaguely
asked whether eventually would it be possible to have some people who could
read the data and some who couldn't but that it wasn't important right now.
And I said, 'sure, we can do that later'.
So now I've developed an app without any thought to security and am trying
to apply it afterwards. Doh!, doh! and triple doh!

Hello,
I'm getting the following error at the end of this message when trying
to run the ReportManager and the ReportServer:
Assembly system.data.dll security permission grant set is incompatible
between appdomains.
I had to apply KB 887787 (http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=887787) to
fix my previous error, which stated...
Assembly microsoft.web.validatepathmodule.dll security permission grant

If I pass data on the command line using
server.transfer(pagename.aspx?ID=3), I assume that this data is not secure
in the sense that it is available to view right in the browser. I know it
is sent as plain text, but I was curious how easy it is to find the value of
ID when running the web form application.
Thanks in advance.

Sorry, the prior message was multi-posted.
Here's a cross-posted version. Please disregard the other one.
Is there a way to create and encrypted database file?
What do people do when data security is important at the file level? In
other words, you don't want anyone to be able to take the database file (or
files) and extract data from them.

Hi,
I managed to create a Windows Form Control and put it on my ASP .NET page. I
have done the suggestion that is provided by modifying the security settings.
From the stack trace, I would assume that the code throws exception when it
is trying to retrieve the processes list that has certain name. Below is the
code that I use to retrieve the processes.
Process processes = Process.GetProcessesByName("xxxx");

I tried to load data into MySQL
The command I used is as below,
load data local infile 'c:/tmp_0124/COL_LIQ_RPT.del' into table COL_LIQ_RPT fields terminated by ';' lines terminated by '\n'
In this command, it just describe how to seperate the field and the lines.
Now, I have a flat data, which character values are in ""

Hello, I've just started to work with DB2 (using the express edition
version 9.5 under windows vista) and I'm accessing it through a java
program (my java's very rusty). The java program loads the driver,
connects and tries to create two tables. That works just fine. Then it
tries to import data into one of the tables but it seems I can't use
an import command with Statement.execute() because an exception is
thrown if I attempt to do this....

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
