Is there anyway I can set up a personal 'remailer' type of thing
on my domain ?
I can not email a friend at his workplace because his company
have put a 'block' on emails from my work address (the companies
we work for are considered rivals) - I am after a way to
'bounce' or forward an email, so my originating address isn't
shown.
I have tried email forwarding (in CPanel) using addresses set up

I have an online directory of alumni from a high school that runs PHP
with a MySql backend containing contact info, email addresses, etc.
Some of the alumni have begun to complain about receiving spam to their
accounts, some of the spam saying that they "know" them from this site.
I've also had alumni that have created email accounts to specifically
use just for this site, and they've started getting spam as well.
I "thought" I thought of...

Hi all,
Ok - at work (NHS) we currently send out emails to everyone in the Trust
(approx 2500 people) whenever there's something to say, perhaps a D&V update
to let people know which wards are closed or remain closed etc...we've
finally managed to get the people in power to see sense and rather than spam
everyone we are going to operate a subscription based application for
various subjects.
Each subject will have an administrator who...

I realize this is not solely an ASP question, but I thought you guys might
know the answer and I couldn't find anywhere else to post this. If you have
suggestions for this I am more than happy to post somewhere else.
How can I, using ASP code, validate whether or not an email address is a
real one? For example, if I have the email address called roy@rogers.net
how can I determine if it is real?

So here's my problem.....I need to set up different email
distributions based on which option in the following Select form has
been chosen....For instance if "Putaway" is chosen it needs to email
User1@here.whatever and User4@here.whatever but if "Loaded" is chosen
it needs to email User2@here.whatever and User3@here.whatever, etc,
etc...
I'm aware that the only thing that really needs to change is the
"Mail.AddAddress" line (at least...

I am trying to strip some data out of numerous emails and place it in
my database. I know that this seems as if it has been done before.
But, this is a little different. First, the numerous emails all have a
set of data that needs to be extracted and inserted into the database.
Some of the data in the email is id, name, address, city, state, zip,
company, etc. The catch is that the date is formated and presented
differently in each...

Within asp.net I know it is possible to validate that a user has entered
in a correctly formatted email address. However, what I want to be able
to do is to verify that the email address entered is actually going to
work. As in that it will receive email.
I have been looking at one way to do this, and that is to see if the
domain part of the email address is a valid domain, but I was wondering
if there was a better way of checking to see...

If you go to http://europe.nokia.com/A4305060, fill the "Enter your
product code:" field with the value "0523183" and press "Go" (the
ending page URL varies because there's a variable session-ID in the
URL-link associated to "Go") you will obtain this string:
"Version: RM43_V1.10.030"
Is it possible to have a string.php page that just display this string?
how can I do it?

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
