Send information to Windows application and Web page????

dear all,

I am building a three tiers application which is
collecting different type of data, but mostly simple text.

I was hinking to make my application general in the sens
that whatever type of data i might receive, I must be able
to send them to a window application or a web application
at the same time.

what is the best way to handle the collection of data
format in order they gets understand by both interface.

First I was thinking of a web service which will be in
charge of collecting data, but I do not know if its the
best approach...
or should I get a paticular clas which collect a set of
object type and send them to proper container.

thanks for your help
regards
serge

I have a server application that monitors a private local queue for messages. The message sent to it has a label and a response queue defined. It works correctly when the queue is accessed via another program. However, when I attempt to Send a message from an ASP.NET VB page, I get "One or more of the passed properties are invalid." I have tried different combinations of the non-transactional Send() with no success. My Windows\Temp...

So, my web app need to, from a server, send messages to a specific client (browser), send messages for all clients, redirect a client to another page. In other way, a client will be able to send messages to another client, throw the server. These are the first funcionalities.

Hi, I receive an access denied error (see below) when attempting to send an email with BodyFormat=MailFormat.Html from an asp.net page. Exactly the same code works fine in a console application, and also succeeds from the asp.net page with BodyFormat=MailFormat.Text. I've recently upgraded from W2K SP4 to WinXP SP2 and am using .Net Framework v1.1 SP1. The code worked fine under W2K SP4.

We have a page that is loading very slow. There is not a lot of data, not a lot of users are connected at the same time and the page does not produce an error, so I am not sure where to start to look for why it is slowing down. I thought about the DB first and added NOLOCK to a couple of stored procedures that were being run, but with no effect. Can someone offer some tips on where to start looking or how I can begin to diagnose this...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
