Recomendation on Image \ Video control

Hi all,

Can someone recommend a good 3rd party image\video control or
VS.NET control for imaging\video.

I will need a recomendation on a good capture card as well
for medical images\video? These will be snapshot images or (10 to 30 second
video clips)

thanks
Gerry

I have a camera system (Axis) which stores JPG via FTP 1-10fps. There is also a motion jpg live stream. I am trying to store these images either in JPG or in video format so they can be reviewed at a later date. I would need to be able to pull a date-time range from the list. This means 86,400 - 2,160,000 images (around 110Kb a piece) per camera a day, depending on speed 1fps - 10fps. There will probably be 1-5 cameras typically. ...

Hey all, I'm hoping someone can help me with a little problem I have. First a little background. I'm working on developing a site which displays live feeds from a security camera. The camera is connected to our network via a network video server. Now here's the problem. One of the requirements of this particular project is that the user be able to save a snapshot of the live video feed at any given time and save it to disk. Now, the...

Hi all, I'm trying to place a semi-transparent image (i.e. an image with parts of it were drawn in transparent color) over a playing video, but can't seem to make it work. Instead of the desired behavior, i.e. having all the transparent parts of the image show the underlying playing video, I get some sort of background

I am making an application that streams video from a web camera onto the client area of a PictureBox on a Windows CLR Form in MS Visual Studio 2005 (using C++). The streaming video works fine, and now I am trying to create an image overlay. I am assuming that the best way for me to do this is to create a second PictureBox that lays over the streaming video. I would then need to draw directly into the bitmap shown in the overlaying...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
