Advanced SQL Generation Options dimmed

I'm having trouble updating records. I get an error saying my update
command has not been set. I realize I need to enable both options in the
"Advanced SQL Generation Options" screen, but these options are dimmed such
that I cannot select them. Any help please. Thank you, Mark

Upon further research, I've answered my own question... So if others are
interested, here is why it won't work.
"Refreshing the data table is only supported on databases that support
batching of SQL statements. For example, Microsoft Access cannot refresh the
data table in the same command that performs other operations."

Thank you, Mark

Hello. I am working on an OLAP tutorial for Data Analysis in SQL Server 2000. I have worked through nearly 2 full tutorials and came across a problem. When trying to create a Parent-Child Dimension with the wizard, I select the tutorial file and click Next. On the Select Advanced Options step there is no Writeback option available. The only options I have are: Custom Rollups, Members with data, and Ordering and uniqueness of members. When...

A simple example could be the following procedure :

Hi, why would the spell check menu item in A2003 be dimmed? I'm using the menu item in a short cut on a number of unbound text boxes. The text boxes are enabled and unlocked. It works on some forms and subforms, but on one in particular it is dimmed. Any ideas why? -- Tim ^o< /#) "Burp-beep, burp-beep, burp-beep?" - Quaker Jake

Hi - I'm new to javascript and I was reading the book Javascript Professional Projects - there is a fragment that has me a little perplexed, and I was wondering if anyone could explain why and how it works. How is it that setting a property to null alters another property? For example setting optionObject.options = null; seems to set optionObject.selectedIndex to -1 automagically. Can you attach "hooks" in javascript that get called...

Hi there, I'm coming to you nice people as a desperate resort with time working against me, anyway: I have implemented an algorithm that basically generates a very large tree of nodes, where each node just contains 4 pointers to other nodes. Now this generation of a tree occurs many times in the programs operation, and with the creation of new Node objects I gradually run out of memory. Obviously I need to deallocate them between each...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
