VC++ 2003 NET error, can't find path

Windows XP
Visual Studio 2003 NET
Visual C++

When I tried to run without debugging, I get a message that says it
can't find a path. The path did exist on my computer. I cannot find
the path text (my search criteria is only one word from the path) in
the solution or anywhere on my computer.

Here is the error when I try to run without debugging, after
cleaning the solution, using the shortcut Ctrl+F5.

Microsoft Development Environment (title bar)
Unable to start debugging.
Unable to start program 'E:\folder\subf older\program.e xe'.
The system cannot find the path specified.

So I search the entire solution for "subfolder" and find nothing.
Then I close Visual Studio and search my hard drive for "subfolder"
and find nothing in any folder related to Visual C++ or Visual
Studio.

Could the text be encrypted in some file?

Thank you.

The good news: Along with Python-2.4 comes really good news to Windows users. Yes, you now CAN build extension modules yourself using the SAME C++ compiler and linker Python is built with itself. Everything you need is available at no costs (except download hassle and installation time). Once your system is set up properly its just a matter of running 'python setup.py build'. No longer waiting for someone else to build binaries and a...

Hi, I have a C++ code. I tried to open and run in in VC++.Net and it gave me an error: fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'getopt.h': No such file or directory Somehow it did not find the standard C++ library. And the question is what do I need to do in order to run the C++ code in VC++.Net and get it working or can I do it at all. What should I do with the not found getopt.h library?

Dear All, I have a problem when I am using VC .Net 2003. I want to add a "include path" in VC .Net Directory Path. But after I add the 37th path into it, the VC become "lost path", VC cannot open system default header file, such as "afxwin.h" during compilation (but it can be when it only contain 36 paths). How should I do if I want to add more?

Thanks for this Oleg, nice try! Unfortunately the solution you gave refers to .NET 2002 and I am using .NET 2003. In the article it says: "This bug was corrected in Microsoft Visual C++ .NET (2003), and all versions of Microsoft Visual Studio .NET (2003). " Also, the "SourceFiles" directory DOES exist for VC7.1 and it appears to contain the correct path.

Hi all, 1) I have used VC++.NET 2002 (v7.0) for a while. Recently I just installed VC++.NET 2003 (v7.1) - I saw the message "Settings were not migrated from Visual Studio.NET 2002 to Visual Studio,NET 2003" during the installation. Do I have to do the migration of the "Settings" if I want to use the both versions of VC++.NET in the Side-by-Side fashion? 2) I ran the "Build" of the example 'Chapter5_Example1' of 'Beginning DirectX 9' by...

Hi Everyone, I have a Visual C++ MFC program, and I am trying to use a webservice written in C#. When I add the webservice to my project using Add Web Reference the sproxy compiler complains about one of the object wanting to extend MarshalByRefObject object, and I get an error SDL1030. I can use the webservice in a C# project just fine but not the C++. Can anyone help me out with this?

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
