i have an delphi application that i'm converting over into c#. one of the
controls on one of my forms is a rich text control. the text is saved as
html to an sql server db. is there a winform text edit control out there
that will let me read html. i ran across one called freetextbox but that
seems to be a web form control and i need something just like that only it
needs to be a winforms controls. thanks.

I need to be able to allow users to drag files to a list box on a web
page. To this end, I created a Windows Control and hosted it in a
WebForm. When the file is dropped onto the listbox, the path of the
file is truncated down to 8.3 format (with the ~1 at the end). When the
Windows control is hosted in a windows form (for testing purposes) the
full path is displayed.
Is there some setting that will allow the full path to be displayed...

I need a little help here please.
I have 2 win forms user controls in 2 different projects that I'm hosting in
2 different virtual directories. The controls have been test and operate okay
in both projects.
Both controls(dlls) have been signed using SN.exe and I've set up the
appropriate .Net assembly permissions using those Strong Names
The DLL's have been copied to the /bin directory in both web virtual
directories.

I'm integrating some software from different vendors with a winform
hosted in IE, so I don't have control over the source...
Here are the symptoms:
A Test program with a winform exe calling the same ActiveX control runs
in 5 seconds
The same winform hosted within IE using an <object> tag takes 2 minutes
to load and then call the ActiveX control via interop.

Hi all,
I'm looking for a tool that can design charts and save chart definitions in
a file.
I would put those chart definitions in a database and then later load them
and render charts (as images) in asp.net application (using the library from
that tool).
That way I can easily add new charts to my webapp without changing the
asp.net source code.
Any recommendations?

I am/was using FCKeditor to allow users to submit HTML, however I am coming
accross a serious bug which removes all style code blocks when a user
submits html using Firefox 2.0.x .
So, can anyone recommend any other html editors than can easily be used on a
asp.net 2.0 website (and are free/opensource).

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
