I am in the process of creating a C# ClickOnce application that will be
deployed in the coming months. I was initially thinking of deploying it
through Windows Installation but due to the need of regular updates to the
program on the client end, ClickOnce led itself to be the better candidate.
With the initial Windows Installation I was planning on using obfuscation
built in Visual Studio to make the code unable to be reverse engineered...

I have some code in my form's On Current event which changes focus to a
particular control. I want the control to remain where it was when the user
moved to the new record. But using Screen.ActiveControl or Me.ActiveControl
in the OnCurrent event results in the error "the expression you entered
requires the control to be in the active window" (2474).
How can I determine the control that had the focus before moving to the new
record, so...

I have a datagridview on one of my forms, and in the grid there are checkboxes on each row. The checkboxes are so the rows can be deleted. However, I am unable to find (I have googled) the way of finding the selected checkboxes.
Does anyone here know how?
Thankyou.

I have a working website. I copied all the files to a new folder in inetpub/wwwroot and then set that folder as a Virtual Directory in IIS. I try going to that site from the new folder and i am getting a default error page. It is an aspx page that I am trying to view.
If I put in a fake page name it gives a different error about that fake name not existing, which means to me that it is seeing the page I want to view but is giving an error...

I have a simple (currently) form app where I have a few draw string Graphics methods happening. To clear the drawn string I am simply doing a drawObj.Clear(System.Drawing.Color.Blue); Which clears the drawn string adequately and for lack of knowing another way of doing this.
The question being, how can i get the current "default" color of the form so that I can use that as the Clear color since I don't know the default color and in case...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
