Hi all, i am working on a communication method between two apps. the first app is a pure c++ project, potentially usable on windows and linux. the second app will be a dotnet app using winforms. it will give orders to the first app. winforms are used to make a good looking and simple interface for third party users. Among other things, the application needs to be able to tell the server to monitor certain items/tasks and notify the client when the item/task has changed. Initially, I wanted to use web services but I am not sure...

Let's assume a web application (in this case a browser-based game) with a custom HTTP server built on PHP, and a client also built on PHP. The client uses the server to access and change data. Even if the client server communication is not directly visible to the user (who logs into the client), the fact that the server is publicly accessible...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention.
