Hi everybody
I use win2k pro and installed the IIS, .Net framwork(v1.0), visual studio .net. I can run a .asp file but I cannot run .aspx file. It seem that the server do not read the .net server side code and display the same html<with server side code> when I read the source code. Can someone help me, I want to run .aspx code
By the way, the .aspx code is just copy from the wed site which is worked

i run .aspx file on win2000 & IIS5 without Active
Directory. But now i can not run it at Win2K with AD. Who
know why?
I can run the .aspx files before setup AD and I do not
change any folders and directories setting. Just install
the AD only.
The error number is 500, and the error message
is: "internal server error". Is that a win2k bug?

I try compact the mdb file in above OSs. (sometimes i compact it in
win98 and sometimes i compact it in win2k)
The result surprises me, say in two different scenarios:
i) if it is compacted in win2k, the original 125Mb file changes to
120Mb.
ii) if it is compacted in win98, the original 125Mb file changes to
150Mb. Then if the 150Mb file is compacted in win2k again, it will

I am beginning a web app. I am using C# aspx forms for my web pages.
Is it possible to create/use one aspx file as a base from which to
derive other aspx files? I can not get this to work.
What I tried was this:
Create a new web project.
- rename WebForm1.aspx to MyBase.aspx
- Add (grad from tool box) a label to the html form
- Then create another aspx file (using "Add Web Form"). This produces
WebForm2.aspx.

Server is now running Framework ver 1.1
When clicking "browse" for the app IIS will simply pull the app,
"index.aspx", as text - shows the raw html code of the source file.
I'm using visual studio net 2003 for development.
Win2k server in a new install and has not run another web app previously.
What configuration is required?

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
