I am a newbie to C# and am having trouble trying to override a ListView
property method. I have created a new class derived from the Forms.Listview
and I cannot figure out the syntax to override ListView.Items.Add(), . I see
that it is a virtual method so it should be easy to do. If anyone can help I
would appreciate it greatly. I can do what I need to do in a different way
this would just make everything significantly cleaner and eaasier...

I have a custom listView that works fine. There are items that are
colored red to notify the user that there is a problem. However, if
you select one of the red items, then select space below any of the
other items, the red item turns back to default black. The only code
getting called on this is a listView_Click event. If you select any
other item, no matter what color, from the listView, the original one
that was selected stays red. ...

I know you can select a single item in a list view using the following
code
listView.Items.Selected = true;
Is it possible to do this for all items in the listView control without
using a loop?

Although there are font attribute properties for the items in a ListView
component, the complier tells me that they are read-only. Is there any way
to get access and change the font poperties of individual items in the
listview item collection; or is there another control I should consider
using?
My work around for the moment is to use a sub item and show the listview
columns but this takes up more space than I would like and isn't quite...

How can I tell a mouse right clicks over a listview item that's in a

If i check items by code BEFORE the form is shown the Listview.Items
are confused during the ItemChecked Event !!!
After showing the form every thing works fine: checking items by code
as well as checking with mouse:

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
