Using the XSD.exe tool, I created a number of classes from my XSD file.
When I generate the WSDL for my web service, the schema does not have
the proper Occurance constraints for the attributes. In this example,
the MessageID element should always occur (minOccur=1, maxOccur=1), but
the WSDL generates minOccur=0. I can't pinpoint why this is happening
and I
can't find a may to force this in the code either. Anyone have any
insight? This...

how a tcp server running on given uri like
"soap:tcp://localhost:8080/MyReceiver" will return wsdl. In normal web
service case which runs on http returns wsdl by simply appending '?wsdl' in
url, but I am confused how a tcp server will do the same.

Hi all
Feeling a bit frustrated here. Maybe I did not find the correct info
yet, that's why I am asking you.
I have "developed" a .NET 2.0 WebService and generated (using wsdl.exe)
the WSDL for it.
The types I am returning from webmethod calls has a superclass
(BaseBusinessObject). So MyBusinessObject inherits from BaseBusinessObjects.
That gives me two schemas in the <types> section of my wsdl. One for the

I used WSDL.exe to generate a client side web proxy for a web service, called
the web service, got the results but an array returned by the web service is
not in the results.
However if I use "Add Web Reference" for the same service the same function
works appropriately.
Here is the client proxy generated from WSDL.exe

Is there a way to build a web service from an existing wsdl? I do not wish to
create a .Net web service client proxy from a wsdl, but an actual web
service. I tried using the wsdl.exe utility, but the output is class of type
SoapHttpClientProtocol and not WebService. It was my understanding that you
could create both client proxies and web services from an existing wsdl file?
If not, what's another way of creating a .NET web service that...

Hi all.
I have some trouble by using WCF while creating WSDL.
Please follow that:
1 Create a WCF service in EXE mode (not tried in IIS), add a basicHTTPBinding and a mexHttpBinding.
2 Run it, and get the WSDL of your service. You should got something like this:
