SOAP::LITE

Hi,
I am new to web services but I need to creating a VB.NET Client from a
SOAP::LITE server the only information that I have is the
http://servername/namespace and port number. How can I add a reference to
the web service to the application I don't think they have a WSDL document.

Thanks

Julio

Hi Julio

Without a WSDL, you can't add a web reference.

You'll need to create a proxy manually or create a WSDL yourself.

Hello, I have installed SOAP::Lite 0.60 and am running a simple test to see the XML output. I noticed that the output indicated it's using the www.w3.org/1999/XMLSchema instead of the prefered www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema unfortunatley I can not seem to findout how to easily change this to be the 2001. Can someone help me? Below is an example of some test output of the current software.. <?xml version="1.0"...

Hi im having a few problems consuming a SOAP::Lite web service. I think the problem is actually with the WSDL but im not sure. I have a SOAP::Lite client which works ok using the WSDL (which i defined by hand). The .NET client on the other hand does not work at all and i get this error when i send the request. Failed to access class (2001::XMLSchema): syntax error at (eval 91) line 1, near "require 2001"

Hi I am passing an arraylist to a c#/.net webmethod from a perl client using soap:lite. The trace shows the elements in the xml request. The arraylist input in the webmethod however does not contain any values and is empty. It works fine with arrays....but NOT arraylists....does anyone know WHY? and HOW TO SOLVE THIS ISSUE? Regards,

Hi, I'm trying to get the Perl SOAP::Lite examples to work on a Windows PC, running Apache 2.2.4. Apache is definitely serving CGI scripts, as I've tested a dummy Hello World thing. I'm also definitely getting a hit when I use a browser to get to my hibye.cgi server (well, a blank page rather than a 404). However, when I run my hibye.pl client, I receive a 503 Service Unavailable at H:\scripts\hibye.pl line 25. It works when I...

Hi, I have been working on a script that loops through multiple records and sends data (one record per call) to a WS. I am supposed to make a new call for each record before sending the data. The problem I have is the first record gets processed fine where as the second record always; reason being the EAI expects it to be a seperate call Though I am creating/reseting a new service everytime within the foreach loop the data seems to be...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
