I have a website I am trying to publish and one that I have published in the
past using the Publish Website option in VS 2005. Now something weird is
going on, when I right click or use build on main menu and choose publish
web site the publish wizard for a Click Once app comes up.
Anyone know why this maybe happening?
Thanks

I posted this last week end in the MSDN forums. No luck there. Let's see what
the experts here have to say:-))))
I have a rather convoluted project. The distributable will come in eight
different flavors, each with its main program, libraries, datafiles, doco,
etc.
Each flavor will also have one or more standalone executables that can be
called as tools from within the main program.

I'm trying to publish my application, but when i try to install it at the
end-user's computer, i don't know where it places the EXE, it appears in the

I get a ton of warning that are similar to "Unable to apply publish
properties for item "microsoft.visualstudio.shell.interop". The warning
appears for pretty much every reference. The application is a
click-once winform app.
How can I get rid of these warnings?

Hi,
I use the publish feature within Vs.net 2008, and have it set to increment
on each build/publish
I want to be able to display this as my application version number, but can
not see how to access the information.
application.productversion doesn't seem to access/use the publish version.

Hi,
We're using ClickOnce alreaddy more than a year for a given applicaiton,
doing more than 50 publishes without any problem.
Yesterday we made a minor change to one of our components (let's say with
the name MyAssembly), and incremented it's version (AssemblyVersion: from
0.1.7.0 to 0.1.7.1). We did the Publish with ClickOnce, but when the users
know want to run the application they get this error:

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
