I would like to ask, how different are C# 2005 Express Edition and C# within
MS Visual Studio 2005.
Than as well Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Edition and ASP within MS VS

Ok, I think I understand how the 2005 product line will be released.
Unless you buy Visual Studio, then you will be forced to buy an Express
Edition of an individual language.
My question now is, do these EE allow for development of windows *and*
web forms, or just windows? From the descriptions I've read, it seems
like it's just windows, but I can't imagine they'd just leave out
internet apps all together (although there *is* a separate...

In VB6 I used a 3rd party tool for line numbering my source code, to
help with debugging. However, in experimenting with VB .Net I've noticed
that my exceptions automatically provide line numbers, with no effort
required from me. Is this a standard offering in .Net, or is rolling your
own line numbers still the way to go? Also, my components at the moment are
being compiled in debug mode. Will line numbers still be available...

Instead of Ctrl+Y redoing what's stored in 'future history', it
REPLACES that information (which will then be forever lost) with a new
command: delete current line. This shortcut is so ridiculous I
actually contemplated that I must have accidentally changed it to this
myself, but I don't see how that could have possibly happened.
Where can I / should I report this?
It doesn't exist in Visual C# .NET, so it's not generic to VS .NET.

Hi,
I am new to Visual C++ (6.0). I want to put all the print information
in different lines into a box.
I create a EDIT dialogue box, and then add a CString variable (m_MSG)
to the dialogue box to display the print information in the box.
However, the print information displayed in the box is in one line,
like this "10.0| 20.0". The "\n" character for the change to a new
line has not been recognized.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
