Following the help documentation, I can only get the report.Load method to
work if I type in the full path. By toggling the commented line below, it
proves that the report will open only when the path is provided. When the
path is not provided, I get report cannot be found error - as listed at
bottom of this post. I have tried all combinations of "@", "./", ".\", etc.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

hi all,
I would like to know how to export a cyrstal report to pdf by using the
crystal report viewer without prompt up a dialog for user to enter the file
name, i.e. I want to place the file path and name in my codings.
I know it can be done by using report document class.
However, I am using report web service. So I can specified a report name in
my case.
Any idea?
Besides, is there any newsgroup about C#.NET and crystal report .NET?

First, this is _not_ a question about how to get Crystal Reports to run
on a client machine. I've got all the merge modules added to the project
and it's working fine. The question is about distributing my .RPT files.
1) Initial Setup Project inclusion of .rpt files:
My folder of new .RPT files keeps growing. Is there a way to point
my deployment/setup project to the folder containing these .RPT files
so they are added...

Have Windows App which makes call to Crystal Reports which is being published
as web services. It works but really slow. stored procedures are used to get
data from database. The windows app has crystal viewer which consumes the
crystal report web service.
The problem is, there is an audit trail report which I have to compare item
by item to find out what got changed, and dump that into a dataset, load that
dataset at runtime, create...

I am using access database to create a crystal report in VB.NET
Everything works fine when I run on my machine. But when I am
deploying it other windows machines. It is asking for database server
name and logon information. The problem which I understood from this
is that the path is hardcoded in the crystal report and the database
is in my bin folder. when I run my app on other machines it is looking
for the database in that folder and...

In a Vista/IIS7 asp.net app, a coded crystal report export is crashing
IIS7....but it works just fine in visual studio's cassini web server. And
if I create a web form and use the crystal reports web viewer, view the
report and then export from the viewer it also works fine (IIS7 and
cassini). And I should note this all works fine in IIS6 on win2003 or in
xp. So my thought with all this is that something is going on with IIS7,
so...

Hello, I am developing a VB.NET 2003 application that will use lots of
Crystal Reports. Sometimes the users will preview a report in a
Crystal report viewer, and sometimes they will send the report directly
to the printer bypassing the Crystal report viewer altogether.
When sending the job directly to the printer I use the PrintToPrinter
command
CR.PrintToPrinter(1, False, 0, 0)

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
