I'm working on an app that's using the WebBrowser control.
I got the control working fine, hooking to the document object. But I've run
into a major issue with hooking the Document events. Whenever I hook any of
the HTMLDocumnetEvent2_Event events like this:
HTMLDocumentEvents2_Event DocEvents = this.Browser.Document as
HTMLDocumentEvents2_Event ;
DocEvents.oncontextmenu += new...

Hi all,
I'm having some dificulties in using the webbrowser events in a windows
forms. Events like downloadcomplete, navigatecomplete etc seem not be raised
at all. For testing, I have placed a breakpoint inside the handler for those
events but the program never stops there.
Are there known issues with using webbrowser's events? The only thing I am
able to do at the moment is to use the navigate method to display content in

I'd like to hook events (like when a user clicks or right-clicks on a link
in a web page) to launch a download manager or to open a new window for the
link, but I am finding it difficult to find sources on how this can be done
using VB.Net.
Have you seen any examples such as this?
I am using VB.Net 2005 Professional, but any .Net examples are welcomed.
Thanks!

The .NET WebBrowser control in the Compact Framework 2.0 is a major
headache.
Once it takes the focus (e.g. by the user tapping on it) it keeps it
and keyboard events are not passed to the form anymore even though
KeyPreview is set to true.
If there are no other controls on the form we don't get them at all to
start with.
I added a tiny textbox with same colors as the form so we can at least

Hi,
Has anyone had any experience with hooking messages in other
application windows (like SPY++). I want to listen for WM_MOVE
messages, but can only seem to find examples of Keyboard and Mouse
hooks.
Please (and thankyou),
James Randle.

The WebBrowser control is described as exposing numerous public mouse events.
See: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ayestehw.aspx. many of the
event are described as: "This event is not supported by this control.
(inherited from WebBrowserBase)". Does this mean that I can't access these?
I am using VS Express C#.
Otherwise how do I capture webBrowser mouse events? I am trying to have a
DISPLAY-ONLY browser window (i.e. no...

Hi, all.
How can i hook up an InternetExplorer object to a WebBrowser
control that I have in my windows form. Basically what I want to do is
automate the WebBrowser control via the InternetExplorer object
(instead of loading iexplorer.exe externally...).
Thanks,

Hi,
I couldn't find a necessary class which shows when mouse hovers on a
link in Webbrowser control.
Think of there's a status bar(text), when mouse comes on a link, the
URL must be shown in this status bar.
How can i do this?
Thanks.

I used the following to create a new Web Browser Control
Dim WithEvents webBrowserContent As New AxSHDocVw.AxWebBrowser
It works fine for some things for example
webBrowserContent.Navigate(url) works. However, the DocumentComplete,
NavigateComplete2 and a couple of other events I tried do not trigger when
the user navigates in that WebBrowser Control - what am I doing wrong?
Thanx,

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
