Upgrade Path for VS.NET ?

I own licenses for VS.NET 2003 Enterprise Architect edition.

I see that there are now a reduced number of /flavors/ for VS.NET 2005:

-Team
-Office
-Professional
-Standard

Which would you think would be the correct upgrade path for VS.NET 2003
Enterprise Architect?

Super, thanks!

It looks like Team Edition for Software Architects is the natural
upgrade for VS.net 2003 Enterprise Architect.

ok..

be noted though...

in Visual studio 2003 was the enterprise architect everything what the
enterprise developer was and more.
with visual studio 2005 this is no longer the case. team edition for
architects has more on certain aspects but the other way around is also true.

Holy Cost Overrun!

My boss just priced the Team Edition for Software Architecture and it's like
$7000 -- that's seven /thousand/ dollars!

Professional is an order of magnitude cheaper!

How can they get away with such high prices ?!?!

yes, it's a lot of money. the team suite is about 11 000 $ ....

I'm sure it will lower in price, in time...
I you had a universal msdn subscription from before november you could have
upgraded it for free to a premium msdn and get visual studio team for
software architects for free....

This isn't entirely PG related, but... Does anyone know what the natural upgrade path from RedHat 9 is? I'm wondering if anyone on the PostgreSQL team is working with redhat to package and bundle versions of PostgreSQL for the latest redhat. Is there going to be a RedHat 10? Or are we all supposed to choose a path of RH Enterprise vs Fedora Core? I have about 10 to 20 Redhat 9 machines in dev/qa/production that

I recently upgraded my server to Windows 2003. The first thing I noticed is that my sample WebService pages no longer worked. The Invoke test button is missing. This is addresed by the following KB article: Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 819267 INFO: HTTP GET and HTTP POST Are Disabled by Default http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;819267 The article advises that a new block be inserted into Web.config (or into

I have been using a prepackaged WAMP (Windows Apache MySQL PHP) installation and along the way (over several years) have modified this and that, added vhosts, modified php.ini the way I want, set up a live php manual (docref_root), moved DLLs, and a thousand other things. Problem is, I have not had to modify anything in a *long* time. Everything works wonderfully as is, I just want to try out some newer features (5.0.4). Quite...

I'm almost ready to build an upgrade routine for a commercial app that will need to import data from an existing Access 97 back-end database to an Access 2007 back-end blank database. Ideally, it would be nice to have the program detect, on first launch, whether the back end database is blank, and ask the user if they want to begin a new database (putting them into the blank one), or import data from the previous version (the access 97...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
