Hello,
Does anyone know how you can prevent a row full of 'null' values from being
added to the datagrid when a user hits the delete key, deleting the word
(null) which represents the default value of 'null'?
Here's a simple way to reproduce this problem:
1) Add a datagrid to a winform
2) Put this code into the Form1_Load event and run it.

I've been bothered for some time about my DataGrid not populating my rows
very quickly. I have about 10K rows loading into the grid.
I create a datatable dt with 2 columns, an ID and a display. The ID is a
member of the keys array.
I then create a DataView dv over the table, and sort it by Display and ID
column (in case of duplicate Display).
I then set my DataGrid.DataSource = dv;
I then load the datatable with my rows, and this is...

I have a DataGrid web control which I've dynamically populated with
template columns to be used for bulk-editting. Generally, all of the
columns are textbox and/or dropdownlist child controls.
Currently everything is working. I can find the updated rows/columns
by parsing the posted data collection against the DataGrid DataSource.
However, when there is a large amount of DataGridItems (rows) the
update processing can take a while.

If I have a datagrid and the bound data file only have 4 rows in it, the
grid will show the 4 rows. However, there is blank space below that
until it reaches the bottom of the grid. Is there a way to have a fixed
number of rows regardless of what data is in the bound table?
Thanks,
Aaron

Hi
I have a DataGrid with some hidden columns and also some read Only and some
ComboBox Columns.
Sandard Tabbing through the Datagrid sees the focus go to the hidden columns
requiring further Tabbing to get to the desired column but it works fine
stopping correctly on the ComboBox column.
I have built a routine to test whether the use is Tabbing forward or back
(Shift Tab) by looking at the last location, not by trapping the Keys. If

Hello,
I'm sure this is simple to resolve but I can't seem to see the answer. I am using Visual Studio 2005 (VB).
I created a local SQL database (using Visual Studio 2005) with a few related tables. On creating the Primary Key columns I was careful to set the Identity property to "Yes", seed = 1, increment = 1. I viewed the Table contents and added a few rows of data, the ID column incremented correctly and everything appears fine.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
