I have created a print button in my windows and web applications. I have two
printers. One printer is located at server and another one is at client. The
problem is every times I print at client it will spool to my server printer.
I wanted to force print directly to my client's local printer. Could anyone
show me vb.net codes to solve this problem?

I'm working on an office application that's going to need to print out
300+ billing statements. Since that seems like a lot, I'm thinking
that will slow things down, which would be bad. So then I thought
that it would be cool if I could just send a billing statement to the
printer when the printer wasn't busy printing. Send them to the
printer one-at-a-time.
System.Drawing.Printing.PrintDocument.EndPrint seemed to be the event

Hi all,
I need to monitor printer spool. What I want to do is. When ever user
try to print something from any application , the print job should be
paused in the spool and it should popup a dialog asking for a
authorization code. If the authorization code is valid then the printer
job will be send for printing . If the authorization code is not
correct then the print job will be removed from the queue.
The operating system is Windows...

I have downloaded the code described in Microsoft article Q154078. I
am trying to send raw ZPL (zebra barcode printer) code from Microsoft
access. It works just fine if I hard code the actual data in the
string being sent to the printer. However, if I prompt the user for
data or if I insert data from a particular record/field in a form
Access crashes/closes on its own.
I have included the code below, if anyone has any suggestions,...

Hi group, I am new to this group and since I didn´t find anything on
Internet related to my problem I wanted to know if anyone know or may
help me.
What I have to do is:
- Monitor a Network Printer
- When a specified document is printed (perhaps it can be identified by
the name), add a signature at the end of the document. This signature
can be any type of digital image (gif, jpg, tiff, etc).

Does any one know how to caputer text data sent to a printer to a file. I
have seen a window service that captures text data sent to a printer on the
server and save it to a file. I would like to know how to do this. I have
many reports that are produced on an IBM mainframe as text that I would like
to send to a Windows' sever as printer output but capture to a text file.
Currently we use an FTP process and a print to printer would reduce...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
